Muslim Presence in Việt Trì Việt Trì, the capital of Phú Thọ Province, is home to a small but established Muslim community. While the city does not have a large historical Muslim quarter, the presence of Islam in Vietnam dates back centuries, with communities forming in urban centers. In Việt Trì, Muslims have gradually settled over the years, contributing to the city's diverse fabric. The community maintains its religious practices discreetly, with prayer times guiding daily life.

Local Prayer Places and Community The Muslim community in Việt Trì is served by a few mapped prayer places, including a notable one at Số 2 ngõ 48, Đại Đồng, Thạch Thất, Hà Nội, about 30 km away. This location functions as a central prayer space for many in the area. Another site, Nghĩa Trang Công Giáo in Phú Cát, Quốc Oai, Hà Nội, also serves as a prayer place. These facilities, though outside the city center, indicate the community's implantation in the broader region, with worshippers traveling from Việt Trì and nearby communes.

Prayer Time Orientation Muslims in Việt Trì observe the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—according to the city's timezone (Asia/Bangkok). Prayer times vary throughout the year due to seasonal changes in sunrise and sunset, influenced by Việt Trì's latitude. The Qibla direction and distance to Mecca are key for orientation. The calculation method used ensures accurate timings for the community's daily rhythm.
