Prayer times vary throughout the year due to Thika's latitude and the changing seasons, with longer days in summer and shorter in winter. The city operates on East Africa Time (EAT, UTC+3), with no daylight saving adjustments. The Qibla direction for Thika is generally north-east, and the distance to Mecca is approximately 2,800 km.
