Ferhadija Mosque

Ferhadija Mosque, also known as Ferhadija džamija, is one of the most iconic Ottoman-era mosques in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Constructed in 1561–1562 under the patronage of Ferhad-beg Vuković-Desisalić, it features a single dome, a slender minaret, and a beautiful interior adorned with floral motifs and calligraphy. The mosque is located on Ferhadija Street, a pedestrian zone in the city center, and is surrounded by shops and cafes.
