Ferhadija Mosque, also known as Ferhad-Begova Mosque, is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque located in the heart of Sarajevo. Built in 1562 by Ferhad-Beg Vuković-Desisalić, it is one of the most important Islamic architectural monuments in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mosque features a single dome, a slender minaret, and a beautiful courtyard with a fountain. It was heavily damaged during the Bosnian War but has been fully restored. Today, it serves as an active place of worship and a symbol of Sarajevo's multicultural heritage.
