Muslim Presence in Pattaya: Pattaya, a coastal city in Chon Buri province, is home to a diverse community including a long-established Muslim population. While the city is widely known as a tourist destination, its Muslim residents have contributed to the local fabric for generations. The community is served by several mosques and prayer spaces, reflecting the enduring presence of Islam in this part of Thailand.

Community and Prayer Places: The Muslim community in Pattaya is well-implanted, with numerous mapped prayer places across the Bang Lamung District and surrounding areas. Notable among these is Masjid Toatillah, located on South Pattaya Road, which serves as a central prayer place for residents and visitors. Other mosques such as Masjid Darul Ibadah, Masjid Hidayatussaligeen, and Masjid Nurul Yaqeen are found in various parts of the city, along with prayer rooms like the one in Central Pattaya. These facilities are spread across areas including Muang Pattaya, Sukhumvit Road, and Soi Sukhumvit, ensuring accessibility for the community.

Prayer Time Orientation: Muslims in Pattaya observe the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—according to the city's timezone, Asia/Bangkok. Prayer times vary throughout the year due to seasonal changes in sunrise and sunset, influenced by Pattaya's latitude. The calculation method used provides reliable timings for the community. Additionally, the Qibla direction and distance to Mecca are key considerations for worshippers, helping them orient their prayers correctly.
