While the city is predominantly Buddhist, Muslims have been part of the local fabric for generations, primarily of Cham and Malay descent. The community maintains its religious practices discreetly, with prayer times guiding daily life for residents and visitors alike.

Community and Prayer Places The Muslim community in Nha Trang is centered around a few key locations. The most prominent is the Nha Trang Mosque, located in the city center near the Xom Bong area. This mosque serves as the primary gathering place for Friday prayers and daily congregations. Other prayer spaces exist in residential areas, though they are less formal. The community is small but close-knit, with mosques providing a spiritual anchor in this coastal city.

Prayer Time Orientation Prayer times in Nha Trang follow the five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. These times shift throughout the year due to the city's latitude and the changing sunrise and sunset. Nha Trang operates on Indochina Time (ICT, UTC+7). The Qibla direction is approximately west-northwest, and Mecca is about 7,200 kilometers away. The calculation method used is the standard for Southeast Asia, ensuring accurate prayer times for the local community.
