Based on available mapped records, there are 20 listed mosques and prayer rooms within a 50 km radius of Negombo. These facilities are distributed across several areas, including Negombo itself, as well as nearby towns such as Wattala, Minuwangoda, Katunayake, and Colombo. The presence of these prayer places indicates a well-established infrastructure for Muslim residents and visitors, with many mosques located in accessible urban centers.

Among the listed mosques, several are prominent in the region. For instance, AL-ASHRAFF Jummah Masjid Mabola is situated on the Negombo-Colombo Main Road in Wattala, about 23.5 km from Negombo. These mosques, along with others in Colombo such as Jawatte Jummah Masjid and Kirulapone Jumma Masjid, provide prayer facilities for Muslims in the capital city.

The implantation of prayer places extends to other areas as well. In the suburbs, Kolonnawa Masjid, Battaramulla Jumma Masjid, and Jumma Masjid in Nawala (Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte) are listed. Masjid Ul Jabbar Jummah Masjid in Kotikawatta and Zaras Garden Jummah Masjid in Wellampitiya further illustrate the spread. This distribution suggests that Muslims in Negombo and its vicinity have access to prayer facilities in multiple sectors, from the coastal city itself to the greater Colombo region. The listed mosques cover a range of distances, making it possible for residents and travelers to find a prayer place within reasonable reach.
