Muslim Presence in Luojiang Luojiang, a district in Sichuan, China, is home to a small but established Muslim community. While historical records are limited, the presence of a mosque in nearby Deyang indicates a long-standing Islamic settlement in the region. Muslims in Luojiang maintain their faith through daily prayers and religious observances, contributing to the city's cultural diversity.

Community and Prayer Places The local Muslim community is served by the Mosque (Southwest Gate) in Deyang, located at 45 Niurou Ln, Jingyang District, about 22 km from Luojiang. This mosque serves as a central prayer place for Muslims in the area, including those from Luojiang and surrounding sectors. The address reflects a visible implantation of Islamic worship in the urban fabric of Deyang, accessible to residents and visitors.

Prayer Time Orientation Muslims in Luojiang observe the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—according to the Asia/Shanghai timezone. Prayer times vary throughout the year due to seasonal changes in sunrise and sunset, influenced by the city's latitude. The Qibla direction and distance to Mecca are key for orientation during prayer. The calculation method used ensures accurate timings for the community.
