While historical records are limited, the presence of Muslims in the region dates back several decades, with families settling here for trade and work. The community maintains its religious practices discreetly, contributing to the city's diverse cultural fabric.

Community and Prayer Places Currently, there are no mapped mosques or prayer rooms in Lianhe, indicating that the Muslim community may rely on private spaces or travel to nearby cities for congregational prayers. This situation reflects the community's modest size and the challenges of maintaining dedicated religious infrastructure in smaller urban centers. Residents often connect with broader networks for religious guidance and support.

Prayer Time Orientation Muslims in Lianhe observe the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—following the local timezone (Asia/Shanghai). Prayer times vary throughout the year due to changes in sunrise and sunset, influenced by the city's northern latitude. The Qibla direction is oriented towards Mecca, with a bearing that can be determined using standard calculations. Despite the lack of local mosques, the community remains committed to their faith, adjusting their schedules to fulfill their religious duties.
