Muslim Presence in Haiphong: Haiphong, a major port city in northern Vietnam, is home to a small but established Muslim community. While the city does not have a large Muslim population, the presence of prayer places indicates a long-term settlement of Muslims, likely including both local converts and expatriates. The community has maintained its religious practices discreetly, contributing to the city's multicultural fabric.

Community Implantation: The Muslim community in Haiphong is centered around the Mộ ông bà Yết Tiến, a notable prayer site located in Mỹ Đồng, Thủy Nguyên, about 10 km from the city center. This site serves as a focal point for local Muslims, offering a place for daily prayers and gatherings. The surrounding areas, including Thủy Nguyên district, host the community's activities, reflecting a quiet but enduring presence.

Prayer-Time Orientation: Muslims in Haiphong observe the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—according to the city's timezone, Asia/Bangkok. Prayer times vary throughout the year due to seasonal changes in sunrise and sunset, influenced by Haiphong's latitude. The Qibla direction and distance to Mecca are key for orientation during prayer. The calculation method used ensures accurate timings for the community's daily rhythm.
