Muslim Presence in Ejido: Ejido, a city in the Venezuelan state of Mérida, is home to a small but established Muslim community. Over the years, Muslims have settled in the city, contributing to its multicultural fabric. While historical records are limited, the community has maintained its religious practices discreetly, with prayer times observed in private spaces or at nearby mosques in the region.

Community and Prayer Places: Currently, Ejido does not have a mapped mosque or dedicated prayer place within the city limits. However, the Muslim community in the area is served by prayer facilities in the broader Mérida region. The nearest notable mosque is likely in the city of Mérida, approximately 10 km away, where a small mosque provides a space for congregational prayers. The absence of a local mosque in Ejido means that Muslims often travel to nearby areas for Friday prayers or community gatherings.

Prayer Times and Orientation: Prayer times in Ejido follow the five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. These times vary throughout the year due to the city's latitude and the changing seasons. Ejido operates on the America/Caracas timezone. The Qibla direction for Ejido is towards the northeast, with a bearing of approximately 67 degrees, and the distance to Mecca is around 11,500 km. The calculation method used for prayer times is typically the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) or similar, ensuring accurate timings for the local community.
