Muslim Presence in Duyun: Duyun, a city in Guizhou province, has a small but established Muslim community. While historical records are limited, the presence of Muslims in the region dates back several decades, with families and individuals contributing to the city's diverse cultural fabric. The community maintains its religious practices discreetly, reflecting the broader pattern of Muslim life in inland China.

Community and Prayer Places: Currently, there are no mapped mosques or prayer places in Duyun. This suggests that the Muslim community may gather in private homes or travel to nearby cities for congregational prayers. The absence of formal prayer spaces highlights the challenges faced by minority communities in maintaining religious infrastructure, yet the community remains resilient in observing daily prayers.

Prayer Time Orientation: Muslims in Duyun follow the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—timed according to the sun's position. Prayer times vary throughout the year due to Duyun's latitude and the changing seasons. The city operates on Asia/Shanghai time (UTC+8). While specific calculation methods are not specified, standard conventions are used. The Qibla direction and distance to Mecca are key for orientation during prayer.
