Muslim Presence in Chaoyang: Chaoyang, a city in Liaoning province, has a small but established Muslim community. While historical records are limited, the presence of Muslims in the region dates back several decades, with families and individuals contributing to the local fabric. The community maintains its religious practices discreetly, reflecting the broader pattern of Muslim life in northeastern China.

Community and Prayer Places: Currently, there are no mapped mosques or prayer rooms in Chaoyang city proper. However, the Muslim community likely gathers in private spaces or travels to nearby cities with established Islamic centers. The absence of listed prayer places suggests a small, close-knit community that relies on informal arrangements for daily prayers and religious gatherings.

Prayer Time Orientation: Muslims in Chaoyang observe the five daily prayers—Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha—according to the local timezone (Asia/Shanghai). Prayer times vary throughout the year due to changes in sunrise and sunset, influenced by the city's latitude. The calculation method used ensures timings align with Islamic jurisprudence. The Qibla direction and distance to Mecca are key for orientation during prayer, though specific values are not provided here.
