Mosques • Aligarh

Aligarh, a historic city in Uttar Pradesh, is home to several mosques that serve the local Muslim community. Based on available mapped records, the city itself features prominent prayer places such as Jama Masjid on Upper Fort Road in the Upper Kot area, just 0.8 km from the city center, and Eidgah Masjid Jamalpur and Badi Masjid in the Jamalpur neighbourhood, approximately 5 km away. These mosques provide convenient options for daily prayers and community gatherings within Aligarh's urban landscape.

Beyond the city limits, the mapped data reveals a significant concentration of prayer places in the nearby town of Khurja, about 46-47 km from Aligarh. Here, numerous mosques are listed, including Khurja Markaz near Binda Wala Chowk, Gach Ki Masjid, Qassabaan Masjid, Madina Masjid, Big Mosque on Panjabiyan Street, and several others. The addresses indicate that prayer places are established across various sectors of Khurja, such as Panjabiyan, Subhash Road, and Munda Khera Road, reflecting a widespread presence of Muslim prayer facilities in the town.

Additionally, the data includes mosques in Hathras (approximately 32 km away), such as Makka Masjid Madhugari on Iglas Road, Chaman Takiya in NayaGanj, and Masjid Usman near Chawar Gate, as well as Tochhigarh Masjid in Tochhigarh (25 km). While Aligarh itself has a modest number of listed mosques, the surrounding areas of Jamalpur, Hathras, and Khurja offer additional prayer options for residents and travellers. This coverage helps Muslims locate prayer places across the broader region, though users should verify details directly with each mosque.

The listed mosques include addresses and distances from Aligarh city center. For accurate prayer times, facilities, and access details, contact the mosques directly.
