Aisha Masjid, also known as Masjid Al-Taneem, is a historically and religiously significant mosque located in the Taneem district of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is situated approximately 8 kilometers from the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) and is one of the designated miqat (stations) for pilgrims intending to perform Umrah. This mosque is particularly used by those who are already within the Haram boundaries and wish to enter the state of Ihram for Umrah. The mosque is named after Aisha bint Abi Bakr, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, who performed Umrah from this location after completing her Hajj. The mosque features a large prayer hall and facilities for pilgrims, including ablution areas and changing rooms. It is a well-known landmark for Muslims performing religious rites in Mecca.
