Jalan Tun Perak, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50050 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, opened in 1909, is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur. Its colourful Moorish-style architecture and airy prayer halls make it a prominent landmark at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers. Once the city's main mosque, it remains an active place of worship and a popular tourist attraction. The mosque features three domes and two minarets, reflecting a blend of Islamic and colonial influences. Visitors can explore the grounds outside prayer times, and modest dress is required.
