Jama Masjid is a 17th-century Mughal-style mosque located in Old Delhi, India. Built of red sandstone, it is one of the largest mosques in India, with a capacity of 25,000 worshippers. The mosque features two 40-meter high minarets and three great gates. It was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and completed in 1656. The mosque is a major tourist attraction and an active place of worship.
